Compare

Straight answers to the questions people actually ask. Where a head-to-head trial exists, it is cited. Where one does not, that is said plainly rather than papered over with a comparison of separate trials.

How these are written

Cross-trial comparison is not evidence

Lining up two separate trials with different populations, durations and designs produces a number, and the number is unreliable.

This class has already produced the worked example. CagriSema was widely expected to beat tirzepatide on the strength of separate-trial comparisons. When REDEFINE 4 tested them directly, tirzepatide won and CagriSema missed its non-inferiority threshold.

So these pages distinguish clearly between head-to-head results and everything else. Where no direct trial exists, the honest answer is that nobody knows, and that is what they say.
