Editorial policy

This page exists so you can judge whether to trust the rest of the site. It covers who runs it, how it is paid for, what it will not publish, and how to get something corrected.

01Who runs this

Peptide Register is an independently run reference site, published from Teesside in the north east of England. It is not a company, a clinic, a pharmacy, or a charity, and it has no connection to any manufacturer, supplier or prescriber of anything listed on it.

02How it is funded

The site sells nothing. It carries no advertising for medicines or supplements, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links, and no paid listings. It does not take money from any company that sells any compound in the register.

If that ever changes, this page will say so plainly and before the change appears anywhere else on the site.

03What this site will not publish

  • Doses, protocols or administration instructions. Not for any compound, licensed or not. Dosing is a clinical decision made by a prescriber who knows your history.
  • Links to anywhere selling anything. Including pharmacies and clinics operating entirely lawfully.
  • Sourcing information. No guidance on where to buy, how to import, or how to identify a reliable supplier of unlicensed product.
  • Recommendations. Nothing here tells you to take, or avoid, any particular compound. It tells you what is known and where the knowledge comes from.
Why the restrictions

Prescription-only medicines cannot lawfully be advertised to the public in the UK. Beyond the law, a site that both explains a compound and points you towards buying it has an interest in what you conclude. Removing that interest is the point.

04How records are written

  1. Regulatory status and licensed indications are taken from the MHRA and the Summary of Product Characteristics.Never from a secondary write-up
  2. Mechanism, cautions and interactions come from the BNF. NHS funding criteria come from NICE.Licensing and funding are separate questions
  3. Every reported effect is attributed to the named trial it came from, with the funder stated.Most large trials are manufacturer-funded, which is context, not disqualification
  4. Where human evidence does not exist, the record says so, rather than substituting animal data presented as though it applies to people.This is the most common failure in material about research peptides
  5. Every record carries a checked date, so you can see how current it is.Regulation in this area changes frequently

05What this site is not

It is not medical advice, and it is not written by clinicians. It is a reference that gathers and cites published information. It cannot know anything about you, your history, your other medicines or your circumstances, all of which change what is safe and sensible.

If you are considering any compound listed here, speak to a doctor or pharmacist. If you have taken something and feel unwell, contact NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency. Suspected side effects from any medicine can be reported directly through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.

06Corrections

Regulation, licensing and evidence all move. Some of what is here will go out of date, and some of it will simply be wrong.

If you find an error, tell us what it is and where the correct information comes from, and it will be fixed. Corrections to anything factual are made openly, with the record's checked date updated. We do not quietly edit and pretend it always said that.
