What we will not build

No dosing tools

No dose calculators, no reconstitution maths, no titration schedules. Not for licensed medicines and not for anything else.

Dosing is a clinical decision that depends on your history, your other medicines and your circumstances, none of which a web page knows. For licensed medicines that decision belongs to a prescriber. For unlicensed ones there is no established dose to calculate with, because the trials that would have set one were never finished.

There is also a practical point. A calculator that returns a precise figure implies a precision that does not exist when the vial's actual contents, purity and concentration are unverified. Confident arithmetic on an unverified input is worse than no arithmetic, because it feels like control.
